When you decide to raise your hand to speak (even when you aren’t sure), you must be comfortable with being wrong. That proclivity to being vulnerable and to dance comfortably on the brink with all of the tension of ‘might work/might not work’ is critical if you are going to matter in any way. Or produce something that matters.
Those who try to be awesome have to be comfortable with the awkwardness of failing at it. It’s the price to pay.
