Why not simulate it first?

Projects are tricky, already.

It’s hard to keep a project in time, under budget and compliant with spec all at the same time. Tough. While you can envisage some known risks, some others will creep up from nowhere.

Things happen.

Now look, it is just as true that it is hard until started….also after it is started, it gets hard. Things start to creep up….all of the hidden details start to become amplified.

The least you can do is to not assume that you have got things covered. That’s why there is a thing as a plan – the house gets built on paper first before it is done on ground just so there are no surprises.

Whatever the project you embark on, make the effort to simulate first — at least in your head before the actual. It helps to manage failure as much as possible.
